I do the work I do because I passionately believe it matters how we say goodbye to people when they die and that we are able to cope with life after they have gone. Talking about death and funerals is not something we feel comfortable about. However, I do believe that death gives life meaning and the more aware we are of our mortality, the more we appreciate life. By taking the mystery out of funerals and becoming more involved in their creation and delivery, we can find a better way of paying tribute to a life lived and give hope to those still living.
